Instructors

David Agee was born and raised on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. He received his B.A. in Production Studies in the Performing Arts (Audio Engineering) from Clemson University in 2008. Upon graduating, he moved to Chicago where he received his M.M in Jazz Studies, Performance, from DePaul University in 2010. David is on faculty at Niles West High School as percussion instructor. As a freelance musician in the Chicago area, David performs with groups such as the Mulligan Mosaics Big Band, JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, Lowdown Brass Band, and has played venues including the Green Mill, the Velvet Lounge, and the Jazz Showcase.
